Project Description:

 

Locations:

  • 24 stores in Illinois and Indiana

 

                       

Scope of Work:

  • Reset/Remodel up to 20 bays per store in 24 stores, timeline 6 weeks, each store 2 nights

 

Reset Description:

  • Establish 2-4 new bays for new bathing systems
  • New ASB Bathing Systems Program -tub/shower, 36"-48"-60" showers
  • New Sterling Vikrell Bathing Systems Program -tub/shower, 36"-48"-60" showers
  • Revised & Condensed Lasco program
  • Potential bay moves in bath aisle to obtain additional bays needed for bathing systems program.
  • Reset on Tub/Shower Door Displays-Keystone & Sterling

Service Team Responsibilities:

  • 7 Day Pre-Walk with SM and NSM to review survey, validate space and potential bay moves, confirm all products in stock
  • Reset-consolidate bays to gain 2-4 additional bays for new bathing systems programs.
  • Construct all reset bays according to installation instructions, RLK, and Plan-O-Gram.
  • Day Completion: At end of each day ensure all bays are shoppable.
  • Clearance Items: Ensure all clearance items are moved to clearance end cap.
  • Non Clearance Items: Ensure all non clearance items are in stock to alleviate any "out of stocks" in the new sets. Prepare stock list of any items needed to complete POG.
  • Post Set Walk: Obtain signoff from store manager. Complete post walk questionnaire and take photos of all bays set or reset (load into QuickBase)
  • QuickBase: Log any issues from reset, upload pictures of all sets and resets, upload signoff form.

Results:

  • Complete Survey "walk" in each store 45 to 60 days prior to reset date to determine bay movements so that the reset could be accomplished. Load determinations to THD QuickBase (web based reporting system). After upload to QuickBase review and finalize store plan with product merchant at THD corporate headquarters.
  • Conduct "Pre Construction" call with the management team of each store to communicate project plan, discuss expectations of store and TP360 responsibilities to enhance possibilities of success. During call, alert store to; product, display, fixture and equipment deliveries.
  • Conduct "7 day Pre Walk" at each store with THD store and regional management. During the walk go over project plan and review all the issues covered on the Pre Con call. Additionally, verification of product orders needed for the reset to insure the orders were either "on hand" or "on order" were done at this time. Reviewed the "BOM" (bill of materials) of fixtures expected to be delivered to the store, with the store management team.
  • Rent and coordinate transportation for an "order picker" for each 2 night reset.
  • Detailed receipt of product and fixtures from the store by the crew leaders on THD QuickBase (web based reporting system).
  • Crews took pictures of each bay in each store.
  • Loaded store pictures to THD QuickBase within 6 hours of completing each store.
  • Successfully reset the bath isle in 24 Home Depot stores.
  • Establish 2-4 bays of new bathing systems program
  • Condense Lasco set to minimum 2 bays
  • Set stores with ASB Bathing Systems program
  • Set stores with Sterling Bathing Systems program
